a very special day

Last night, TheHub told me that today's going to be a special day. It, indeed, turned out to be a very special one.

He got off of work at 10 o'clock in the morning, and arrived at about 10:15 am at the apartment. We headed straight to Boracay Garden & Grill in South San Francisco to have lunch ... pretty much brunch for me. I ordered Chicken Tinola; he ordered Steak a la Tokyo; and we both had steamed rice and lemon iced tea. The food was yummy! Unfortunately, we had to have the Tinola to go because we were already too full to finish it.

Before going to the restaurant, he called PG&E to ask if he could cancel the payment he had made online, and to just pay it on the phone; but he was asked for the confirmation code, which he did not have at the time. He had to get it from his computer, at home. So, after eating, he decided to stop by his house to get the information he needed to settle his PG&E issue. That was the first time he took me to his house. There was no one there, though. His mom was on a trip out of town with some friends, Nicole was at a friend's house, Angela was at school, and Rosa was at work. We only stayed there for about 10 minutes.

From there, we went to the Cypress Lawn cemetery in Colma to bring flowers to his dad. The cemetery isn't too far away from the restaurant where we ate at earlier.

TheHub still had some time to spare before playing tennis with Philip in Foster City, so we stopped by at Barnes and Noble in San Mateo, picked up a Photoshop Creative magazine ... which came bundled with an Advance Photoshop mag, and bought coffee at Starbucks. I had my usual drink: decaf, grande/venti, non-fat, Caramel Macchiato, and he had his usual Iced Mocha ... grande, too.

Afterwards, he stopped by the tennis pro shop near the tennis courts so that he could exchange the demo racket he has had since yesterday with another one. Then, he and Philip played till about half past six in the evening.

Philip invited us to a Chinese dinner treat at a restaurant nearby. We had Tomato and Beef Chow Mein and Pepper & Salt Pork. TheHub took me home after dinner.

During the short drive from the pro shop to the courts, I mentioned my Project 365 to TheHub. I said since I didn't take pictures everyday this month, maybe I should just call it, Project 334. "That would take care of the whole of January," I thought. However, immediately after coming up with the latter, I decided to just peg it at 333; ergo, giving it the title Project 333. That would be cool because it only meant I will be starting on Miguel's birthday.

That ended our Project 365 discussion; besides, we were already in front of the tennis courts by then.

Time to sleep, folks! I'll be posting tomorrow's events when I get back.

Good night, everyone!

I Like: going to the movies, traveling, sleeping-in, reading books, and chatting; especially if it's with TheHub and/or the kids. Those are just a few of the many, many things I like doing.

I Dislike: MIGRAINE HEADACHE, pain--both physical and emotional, icky stuff, being alone, fibbers, opportunists ...
